In the Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide there are two signposted and semi-paved paths that are suitable for wheelchair users and strollers. One wheelchair path starts at Visit Kalmthout. The 'Little Switzerland' walking path runs via the Withoefse Heide through a beautiful piece of heathland. You will also come across many nice catering establishments in the village of Heide.

This walking path takes you further through the wooded streets of Heide. At the beginning of the 20th century, many creative people lived here, they settled near the Kalmthoutse Heide. Be sure to discover some architectural gems of houses there. With a little imagination you can imagine yourself in Switzerland through the beautiful villa's in a green environment.

With the legends trail you will discover many hidden historical places in Kalmthout. Walk on a beautiful plank path of 125 meters long around the old oak 'De Cassenboom'. The tree is estimated to be about 150 years old.
